Domestic tranquility -- and a fluffy white dog -- are destroyed as two men tackling each other burst through the wall of a pristine white living room.

One of the two men narrates, while they move in slow motion in a tackle that also looks like a hug, "Chris and I have a friendly rivalry: (New York) Giants, (Dallas) Cowboys. You know the deal. But we sure agreed on getting rid of cable and upgrading to DirecTV with NFL Sunday Ticket. It's the only way we can watch our favorite teams every week. Sure we still argue sometimes."

Up until now, it could have been two friends, but then the second man adds, "We're just like any couple, really."

The timing seemed prescient for the ad, as NFL player Michael Sam, who was signed (and later cut) by the Cowboys after coming out as gay.
