About the Chamber

“We help businesses make it here”

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of businesses including sole proprietors, startups, neighborhood stores and large companies. We represent the voice of more than 100,000 businesses in the city and our efforts to support them helps to drive broad economic prosperity.

We are a thought leader on the future of the city’s economy and the collective voice for business on public policy and economic development decisions at all levels of government.

We are the super-connector that facilitates strategic partnerships and business deals, provides access to government and increases the visibility of our members.

We are the guardian of small businesses and startups which must navigate the costs and complexities of operating in New York.

The Chamber also has two 501(c)3 nonprofit arms: Our foundation allows us to provide resources, education and other programming to the business community. Our community benefit fund allows us to support the good work of charitable organizations focused on improving quality of life in Manhattan.
